I was asked a while back to help photograph for this poster and wonderful cause. Everyone volunteered to come after work to get the photographs we got and the one you see here as the main one is what they ended up going with. The two Donor Recruit Representatives from United Blood Services that I had the privilege to work with were amazing. Their smiles and cheery personalities made this all come together in what will hopefully be the best year yet for the Guns n'Hoses Blood Drive!!! If you are in Rapid City June 24-27 stop by the Rushmore Mall near the Gap and donate! Hopefully I'll see you there! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call 605-342-8585 or let me know if I can direct you in a certain way.

Caden & Corban TURN 2!!!

I have had the fun of photographing these two little boys since they were born! Today I got all sorts of kisses from Caden! They are just growing up. Every time they come in for a session I just can't believe how much taller and thinner they get. Their personalities are developing even more distinct too. I know their mom is gasping right now cause every time she leaves the session she says, "Did we get anything?" So here's to you Lindsey and all your patience as you have TWO little trouble makers!!! You know, I wonder what my mom would say if I told her the stories of these little twins and how they behave during photos! I'm pretty sure she would say that she didn't even try to attempt to take my twin sister and I to get photos at this age. We were mommy's little girls! Ha ha good memories! Here's the proof that you can have some wonderful images of your children at any age! Enjoy!

Three sisters...

I have to thank these three girls for being so unbelievably patient with me!!! I can only hope that every sister has the type of relationship that these three share and share with their sister who was unable to make it. We toured all over the hills in the chilly spring air that we had. They made me laugh and sometimes I had to shiver seeing the goose bumps on their skin! Everyone take the time to spend with your sister!!! They are so special!

The week after being gone!
I always prepare myself for the week after I get back from being gone that it will be kinda crazy! I think I did a good job preparing myself for it this time except my computer is trying to make it a bit more interesting. Ha ha No worries though. I just turned it off and left for the night a bit earlier!!! I play on a coed 6 on 6 sand volleyball league on Tuesday nights and find that it is a relief to any technology stresses that creep into my days! We had a tough time playing tonight because of all the moisture we've been getting the sand was soaked and didn't give to much when we went diving. I don't think I've had that much competition for over a year. It was a great night with two games back to back! I know why I fell in love with this sport years ago! On the photography side I have been working away on getting the wedding photos from the last two weddings ready for the couples to view. I also got in a few more pieces of equipment for the studio which is super exciting. I think the term "multi-tasking" is merely a small indicator to what I've been doing the last two days. I mean I literally have two computers running with two to five programs on each, the new equipment laid out and ready for assembly, clients in and out, phone ringing, assembling equipment, orders to get ready for pick up.... it's awesome!!! I love it all!!! Life is great and I think I just wanted to share the fact that everyday has something fun and exciting about it if you just take a step back and look. Today there were lots of great parts but if I didn't have photography to keep me busy I would have loved to be blessed with the talent to be a professional volleyball player!!! Have a great one! Thanks for reading!

Cory & Brett
Yesterdays outdoor wedding had plans of it's own for the weather. I left that morning to the wedding with cloudy skies and a steady mist. The closer I got to Crawford, NE the sky cleared up and the location was perfect for all the family and friends to come stay and enjoy! The wedding colors were rich and every little detail was perfectly planned out. I can't wait to show you the photos we took in the fog! ENJOY!

Matt & Tessa's Wedding
Eureka, SD.... on Saturday, May 30 Matt and Tessa got HITCHED!!! They had a beautiful ceremony, lots of family, friends and their wedding party was a good looking bunch. Thanks to all of them for their help! When I first booked their wedding I didn't have a clue where Eureka was. I remember the day I updated my calendar and said I was going to Eureka, many people said, "Is that in the middle of nowhere?" There we others who started telling me there grandparents, friends or other family members lived in Eureka and that it wasn't but a small town. I am here to tell everyone that I adored that little town! There was an old brick church, lilacs blooming everywhere, downtown had a gas station that you only see in movies and the lake was breathtaking when the sun set! Matt and Tessa, you have a family and group of friends that would do anything for you. Always remember that they are there for you! Thanks for showing me once again the true meaning of marriage and LOVE! I wish you only the best! Congrats!
